1991 Talbot Motorhome 2.5L Diesel · J155 JBP

The 1991 Talbot Motorhome remains roadworthy. The most recent DVSA MOT on 9 June 2025 at 83,273 miles returned a clean pass with no defects recorded, confirming that the vehicle’s maintenance trend is stable and has not deteriorated over the past three years. Mileage growth is modest and evenly distributed. From 25 June 2022 at 79,832 miles to 3 July 2023 at 80,608 miles, the car accrued 776 miles. The following year it added 1,351 miles, and the next year 1,314 miles. These figures match the vehicle’s age and suggest regular, light use rather than long periods of inactivity. No large gaps or sudden spikes appear in the record, indicating consistent upkeep. A prospective buyer should examine the usual wear items that could surface despite clean MOTs. Inspect tyre tread depth, sidewall integrity, and brake pad thickness; verify that the suspension bushings, coil springs, and shock absorbers are free of cracking or excessive play. Check the chassis for rust, especially around the wheel arches and body panels, and confirm that the exhaust system is intact without leaks. Verify engine oil levels, coolant condition, and the integrity of the fuel and electrical systems. Even though no faults have been flagged, these components represent the most common points of failure in a vehicle of this age and mileage.
