2015 Toyota RAV4 2.2L Diesel · JA15 RYA

This Toyota RAV4 presents an exceptionally stable roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 9 February 2026 at 91,708 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to January 2022, indicating a vehicle that has been maintained to a high standard and has avoided the common degradation typical of an eleven year old SUV. The mileage accumulation is steady and aligns with typical usage for this age. Between January 2022 at 50,810 miles and February 2026 at 91,708 miles, the vehicle covered 40,898 miles. The annual increments are consistent, with a notable jump of 11,590 miles between January 2024 and January 2025. This regularity suggests the car has been used consistently rather than left to stand, which generally helps preserve rubber seals and prevents battery degradation. The absence of any advisories or failures over the last five years is unusual for a vehicle of this vintage. The tester flagged no issues with suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions across any of the recorded tests. There is no evidence of structural corrosion or recurring mechanical faults in the DVSA data, suggesting a disciplined approach to preventative maintenance by the previous owners. A physical inspection should still focus on standard wear items that do not always trigger MOT failures until they reach a critical limit. Check the depth of the tyre treads and the condition of the brake pads, as these consumables will have worn naturally over the 40,000 miles covered since 2022. Inspect the underside for any surface rust that may not have reached the threshold of a structural failure but could indicate future vulnerability.
