2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce TB AWD Auto 2.0L Petrol · JD63 DAY

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce TB in question achieved a clean MOT pass on 31 March 2026, with no defects or advisories recorded during that test. This represents a stable roadworthiness trend, as the most recent inspection confirmed compliance across all mandatory checks without any recurring issues. The absence of advisories suggests the vehicle’s core systems—braking, suspension, steering, and emissions—were functioning within acceptable limits at the time of testing. However, the MOT history is notably sparse, with only a single entry in the past five months, which limits visibility into longer-term maintenance patterns. The recorded mileage of 24,388 miles over approximately four years equates to an average of around 6,097 miles annually, a rate consistent with typical usage for a vehicle of this age. There are no prior MOT records to compare, so no trends in mileage accumulation or neglect can be established. While the low mileage might imply lighter use or extended periods of storage, it also means fewer opportunities for wear to reveal itself. Without earlier tests, it is impossible to determine whether critical components like suspension bushes, brake calipers, or drivetrain seals have been subject to gradual degradation or have remained unstressed. Given the limited MOT history, a prospective buyer should prioritise a thorough inspection of high-wear areas that often go unnoticed without regular servicing. The suspension—particularly the rear coil springs and bushes—should be examined for uneven wear or binding, as these components are prone to premature failure in AWD vehicles with this level of mileage. Brake discs and calipers require close scrutiny for uneven wear patterns or signs of overheating, while the AWD system’s differentials and transfer case should be checked for fluid leaks or unusual noise under acceleration. Structural integrity, particularly around wheel arches and sills, must be assessed for corrosion, as this model is susceptible to rust in wet conditions. The absence of prior MOT data makes these checks essential, as they cannot be reliably inferred from the current record.
