2012 Renault Kangoo ML19 DCI 75 1.5L Heavy oil · JFZ 3487

This vehicle presents a highly stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent pass rate. The most recent MOT on 17 December 2024 at 62,298 miles was completed without any defects or advisories. This clean bill of health follows a long-term trend of passing tests without recorded failures, suggesting a vehicle that has been maintained to a standard that consistently meets DVSA requirements. The mileage is exceptionally low for a 14 year old commercial vehicle, averaging roughly 4,450 miles per year. Between the April 2019 test at 48,799 miles and the December 2024 test at 62,298 miles, the car covered only 13,499 miles over five and a half years. Such low usage often indicates a light duty cycle, though it can also suggest periods of inactivity which may affect rubber components and fluid integrity. While the MOT record is remarkably clean, the lack of any recorded advisories over several years is unusual for a vehicle of this age. A buyer should specifically inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for perishing or cracking caused by age rather than wear. Check for any signs of corrosion on the chassis and sills, as low-mileage vehicles stored in damp environments can suffer structural rust despite a lack of mechanical wear. Verify the condition of the brake discs and calipers for surface corrosion or binding, which commonly occurs when a vehicle sits idle. Given the current date of 23 July 2026, the most recent MOT has expired. A fresh inspection is necessary to ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy and to identify any deterioration that has occurred since the December 2024 test.
