2022 Tesla Model Y Performance AWD Electricity · K5 BYT

The vehicle presents a stable and fully compliant roadworthiness status based on the available DVSA records. In the most recent test conducted on 2025-12-05, the Model Y passed with zero defects recorded at 11,437 miles. This clean pass indicates no immediate structural or mechanical failures were present at that time. Given the absence of any recorded advisories or failures, the maintenance trend appears stable, though the sparse record limits a long-term evaluation of wear patterns. The mileage pattern is notably low for a vehicle of this age. Registered in 2022, the car had accumulated just 11,437 miles by its December 2025 test, equating to an annual average of roughly 2,859 miles. This suggests the vehicle experienced predominantly light use or prolonged periods of inactivity. The single MOT entry leaves a gap in the historical data between 2022 and 2025, making it impossible to track the rate of accumulation precisely. The static mileage since December 2025 further implies the car has seen minimal use over the last six months. Despite the clean MOT, a physical inspection must focus on components susceptible to low-mileage degradation. Tyres should be closely examined for sidewall cracking and flat spots, as prolonged standing causes rubber deterioration regardless of tread depth. Brake discs and calipers require thorough checking for surface corrosion and binding, common issues on vehicles that sit unused. Suspension bushes and coil springs should be inspected for dry rot or moisture damage. The high-voltage battery system and drivetrain seals also warrant a close look, as extended inactivity can compromise lubrication and seal integrity.
