A consistent record of roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with its initial MOT test on 2026-05-08 resulting in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates that at the time of testing, the vehicle met all statutory safety and emissions requirements without any identified mechanical shortcomings. The recorded mileage of 11,591 miles is low for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 3,864 miles per year. Such a low rate of accumulation suggests the vehicle has seen limited road use since its manufacture. Mechanically, this typically results in minimal wear on primary drivetrain components and suspension bushings, though it may also reflect periods of inactivity. As the MOT record is devoid of advisories, there are no specific failed components such as suspension linkages, brake pipe corrosion, or oil leaks to investigate. A physical inspection should instead focus on verifying the current state of consumables, such as the remaining tread depth across all tyres and the condition of the brake discs, which can be prone to surface oxidation when a vehicle is used infrequently. During a test drive, attention should be paid to the seamless integration of the mild-hybrid system and the operation of the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. Listen for any unusual noises from the drivetrain during low-speed manoeuvres and ensure there is no steering pull or vibration through the chassis, confirming that the absence of MOT defects translates to a stable driving experience.
