2007 Vauxhall Zafira 1.9L Diesel · KG07 ENY

The Vauxhall Zafira passed its most recent MOT on 2 August 2025 at 70,679 miles with no defects recorded, leaving it roadworthy as of that test. The maintenance trend appears stable and resolving: the vehicle failed twice previously on administrative or presentation grounds rather than mechanical faults, then cleared on retest within days each time. No advisories or wear items appear anywhere in the three-year record. At roughly 19 years old the car shows just 70,679 miles, an average of about 3,720 miles per year. The odometer moved from 61,445 miles at the July 2023 test to 67,479 miles by August 2024, then to 70,679 by August 2025. That is low annual use with no sudden accumulation. The sparse, clean record gives little evidence of hard driving, though long standing periods between short trips can let seals, tyres, and brake components degrade without showing in mileage. The two failures on 24 July 2025 at 70,482 miles and 13 August 2024 at 67,479 miles listed no defects, indicating the tester rejected the car on missing documentation, plate, or similar non-mechanical grounds rather than worn parts. Previous owners presented the car unprepared twice, which suggests loose admin rather than skipped servicing. Still, a buyer should confirm the V5, plates, and test paperwork are in order before purchase. In person, inspect suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs for age-related corrosion given the low but ageing profile. Check underneath for structural rust on sills and subframes, and verify tyres are not perished from standing. The MOT data shows no flagged mechanical faults, but nineteen years will test rubber and metal regardless of the clean sheet.
