2003 Honda Civic 1.6L Petrol · KJ03 HWA

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a clear improving trend in its mechanical presentation. The most recent inspection in June 2025 at 46,526 miles resulted with no defects recorded, indicating that the issues identified in previous years have been addressed. This clean result suggests the current owner is proactive regarding maintenance, as the vehicle has moved from a state of advisories to a perfect pass record. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 23-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,000 miles per year. Between May 2022 and June 2025, the car covered 16,459 miles, showing a consistent but light usage pattern. While this low mileage typically reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, the long intervals between uses often lead to degradation of rubber-based parts. The 2023 test at 35,014 miles highlighted this risk with perishing and cracking on three tyres, which is a classic symptom of age-related decay rather than tread wear. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the structural integrity and rubber components due to the vehicle's age. Despite the low mileage, check for cracks in the sills, wheel arches, and underbody for corrosion that often accumulates when cars sit stationary. Inspect the brake lines for signs of bulging or seizing, as low-use vehicles frequently suffer from seized calipers or perished hoses. Ensure the current tyres are relatively fresh and not showing sidew cracking, as the history proves the vehicle is prone to dry rot issues.
