2021 Volkswagen Polo Life TSI 1.0L Petrol · KT71 EHX

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a clear improving maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted in November 2025 at 54,703 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects. This indicates that the issues identified in the previous year were addressed and that the vehicle currently meets all minimum UK legal standards for mechanical safety and environmental emissions. The mileage accumulation is consistent with typical use for a vehicle of age, averaging approximately 11,000 miles per year. Between the December 2024 test at 50,460 miles and the November 2025 test at 54,703 miles, the car covered 4,243 miles. This regular usage pattern suggests the vehicle has not sat for extended periods, which is generally beneficial for the integrity of rubber components and hydraulic seals. A buyer should physically inspect the front tyres specifically, as the December 2024 test flagged cracking and perishing on both the nearside and offside front tyres. While the 2025 test showed no defects, the history of rubber degradation suggests the tyres may be reaching the end of their lifespan regardless of depth. Given the age of the Polo, a visual check of the sidewalls for further dry rot is necessary to ensure the previous owner replaced them with fresh rubber.
