2010 Honda CR-V 2.2L Diesel · KW60 ADX

The 2010 Honda CR‑V failed its latest MOT on 25 June 2026 at 147,531 miles, indicating a worsening maintenance trend with repeated suspension arm and anti‑roll bar corrosion and a binding front brake condition. The mileage trajectory shows a steady increase from 44,863 miles in September 2015 to 147,531 miles in June 2026, averaging about 9,221 miles per year, which aligns with typical usage for a 16‑year‑old vehicle. Recent accumulation accelerated, with 11,843 miles recorded between June 2025 and June 2026 and a 10,802‑mile jump from June 2024 to June 2025, suggesting the car has been driven more intensively in the past two years. A buyer should inspect the front sub‑frame, suspension arms and anti‑roll bars for the documented corrosion that has persisted across multiple tests, verify the condition of the front brake discs and pads for any binding or excessive wear, and examine the tyres for uneven tread wear and edge damage noted in earlier records. Particular attention to the power‑steering hose and any play in rear anti‑roll bar bushes is also advisable, as these items have appeared repeatedly in the history. Overall, the vehicle’s structural integrity appears compromised by chronic rust on key chassis components, and the presence of binding brakes and worn suspension parts presents a clear mechanical risk that must be confirmed on‑site before any purchase decision.
