2006 Piaggio PX 125 0.1L Petrol · LF06 VHW

This vehicle maintains a stable and exemplary roadworthiness status. The most recent MOT on 2 July 2025 at 17,340 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent five-year trend of passing every inspection without a single advisory or failure, indicating a high standard of mechanical upkeep. The mileage is exceptionally low for a twenty year old machine, averaging roughly 867 miles per year. The distance covered between tests has remained minimal and steady, with only 202 miles added between June 2024 and July 2025. Such low usage suggests the vehicle has spent significant time stationary, which often presents different risks than high-mileage wear. While the MOT record is flawless, the low usage pattern means a buyer should focus on components that degrade regardless of mileage. Check for perished rubber seals, cracked tyres, and fuel system gumming caused by long periods of standing. Inspect the brake calipers for seizing and ensure the battery holds a charge, as these are common issues for vehicles with this specific usage profile. The absence of any flagged corrosion or structural issues across five years of testing is a positive indicator for a vehicle of this age. Verify the condition of the oil and air filter during a physical inspection to confirm that the lack of MOT defects translates to a comprehensive preventative maintenance regime.
