2015 Toyota Yaris 1.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · LR65 RZV

This Toyota Yaris is currently roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 13 January 2026 at 156,648 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. While the vehicle failed its tests on 9 January 2026 and 18 January 2025, the immediate passes on the same or following days suggest that any identified faults were rectified promptly. The vehicle has covered 156,648 miles over 11 years, averaging roughly 14,241 miles per year. This is high usage for this model. Between the November 2023 test at 147,883 miles and the January 2026 test, the car added 8,765 miles. This indicates consistent, heavy use rather than periods of stagnation, which generally helps prevent seals from perishing and brakes from seizing. The MOT record is unusually clean for a high-mileage vehicle, showing no recorded advisories for suspension bushes, coil springs, or brake disc wear. This lack of documented wear is atypical for a car with over 150,000 miles. A buyer should verify if maintenance was performed at a garage that does not report minor defects or if the vehicle has undergone significant recent refurbishment. Physical inspection should focus on the chassis and underbody for corrosion, as the MOT data provides no insight into structural integrity. Given the high mileage, a manual check of the engine mounts and gearbox oil condition is recommended to ensure the drivetrain has been serviced beyond the basic legal requirements. Check the tyre tread depths and brake pad thickness personally, as these consumables are not flagged in the recent records.
