2017 Toyota Alphard 2.5L Hybrid electric · LU17 JKO

The vehicle presents a clean bill of roadworthiness, evidenced by the most recent MOT test on 19 November 2025. At 37,002 miles, it passed with no defects or advisories recorded, indicating a stable maintenance trend where the mechanical and structural components met all DVSA standards without immediate concern or recurring faults noted in the latest inspection. With a recorded mileage of 37,002 miles over nine years, the Alphard has averaged approximately 4,111 miles per annum. This is significantly lower than the national average, suggesting the vehicle has seen light use or spent long periods in storage. While low mileage generally preserves wear on the drivetrain and engine components, it can occasionally lead to the degradation of rubber-based parts or the corrosion of brake surfaces if the vehicle is not driven regularly enough to clear out moisture. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on areas prone to issues in low-mileage vehicles. Check the tyres for sidewall cracking or flat spotting, as rubber can hardy over time regardless of tread depth. The brake discs and calipers should be examined for pitting or surface rust, as infrequent use often results in oxidation on the metal surfaces. Given the clean history, the suspension bushes and coil springs are likely in good condition, but a visual check for fluid leaks or perished rubber remains necessary to ensure the low-frequency use has not compromised the mechanical seals.
