2015 Mercedes-Benz Ambulance 3.0L Diesel · LX15 ABN

This vehicle is currently roadworthy with a highly stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 6 March 2026 at 219,014 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to February 2022, suggesting a rigorous approach to preventative maintenance. The mileage is high for an 11 year old vehicle, averaging nearly 20,000 miles per year. The accumulation has been rapid and steady, with the odometer increasing by 17,910 miles between January 2023 and January 2024, and a further 17,510 miles by January 2025. Such high usage typically accelerates the wear of drivetrain components and suspension systems, yet the absence of MOT advisories over the last five years is unusual for a vehicle of this age and mileage. A physical inspection should focus on components that the MOT test may not fully quantify. Given the 219,014 total miles, a buyer must check for play in the suspension bushes and the condition of the coil springs. While the tester flagged no issues, the high mileage increases the risk of internal engine wear and transmission fatigue. Check for signs of structural corrosion on the chassis and sills, as these can develop between tests. Inspect the brake discs for thinning and the tyres for uneven wear patterns. The lack of recorded defects suggests the previous owner replaced consumables proactively, but verifying the service history for oil changes and timing belt intervals is essential to confirm the mechanical health of the engine.
