2016 Bentley Continental 6.0L Petrol · LX16 ONS

The vehicle maintains a high standard of roadworthiness, evidenced by the most recent MOT test on 10 June 2026 at 6,324 miles which passed with zero defects recorded. The maintenance trend remains remarkably stable over the last five years, with every annual inspection passing cleanly without any advisories or failures. This suggests the vehicle has been stored in quality conditions and subjected to minimal mechanical stress. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 632 miles per year. Between August 2022 at 2,085 miles and June 2026 at 6,324 miles, the car covered only 4,239 miles. The most significant gap occurred between July 2023 and June 2024, where only 556 miles were recorded. While low mileage indicates reduced wear on the drivetrain and engine, long periods of standing can pose specific risks to rubber components and fluid integrity. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must conduct a physical inspection of components affected by age and inactivity. The tester should check for cracking or dry rot on tyres, suspension bushes, and wiper blades, which degrade regardless of mileage. Brake discs and calipers require scrutiny for surface corrosion or seizing caused by long periods of disuse. Additionally, verifying the state of engine oils and rubber seals is essential to ensure the low-usage profile has not led to internal oxidation or seal failure.
