The vehicle’s most recent MOT test on 11 June 2025, at 34,468 miles, confirms it remains roadworthy with no defects recorded. This clean history over the past 12 months—including the preceding test on 29 May 2024 at 26,100 miles—indicates a stable maintenance trend without recurring issues. The absence of advisories or failings suggests the vehicle has not experienced persistent mechanical or structural concerns during these intervals. However, the 11-month gap since the last test (as of July 2026) means the current roadworthiness status is no longer guaranteed, and a full inspection is essential to verify ongoing compliance with UK safety standards. The recorded mileage of 34,468 miles over approximately five years aligns with typical usage patterns for this age of vehicle, averaging around 6,894 miles annually. There are no red flags in the mileage progression, as the intervals between tests (8,368 miles in 12 months and 8,368 miles in the prior year) are consistent with responsible ownership. The lack of intermediate MOTs or service records means there is no evidence of extended periods of disuse or rapid wear, though this also means no documented maintenance history beyond the MOT cycle. Buyers should note that while the mileage suggests moderate usage, the absence of service intervals could imply deferred servicing or neglect of non-MOT-required components. Given the clean MOT history, the primary focus of an in-person inspection should centre on high-wear items that are not routinely checked during the MOT. The suspension system—particularly coil springs, bushes, and dampers—should be examined for uneven wear or leaks, as these are critical for handling and safety but not always flagged in a standard test. Brake components, including rear calipers and discs, warrant close scrutiny, as binding or uneven wear can develop without immediate MOT detection. Additionally, the MHEV hybrid system’s battery and cooling lines should be checked for corrosion or degradation, as these are not typically assessed during a basic MOT. Structural integrity, especially around wheel arches and sills, should also be inspected for signs of corrosion or damage, as these issues can compromise the vehicle’s safety without being captured in the MOT record.
