2016 BMW 118 1.5L Petrol · MJ66 ABZ

This vehicle presents an exceptionally stable roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 8 November 2025 at 78,356 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent five-year trend of passing every inspection without a single advisory or failure, indicating a high standard of preventative maintenance. The mileage accumulation is steady and typical for a ten-year-old vehicle. Between the November 2021 test at 52,843 miles and the November 2025 test at 78,356 miles, the car covered 25,513 miles. This averages roughly 6,378 miles per year over that period. There are no erratic spikes in usage or long periods of inactivity that would suggest neglect or unusual wear patterns. The absence of any recorded defects across five consecutive years is rare for a vehicle of this age. The tester flagged no issues with suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions, nor was any structural corrosion noted. Such a clean record suggests the previous owner adhered strictly to service intervals and addressed wear items before they became MOT failures. A physical inspection should still focus on standard wear items that do not always trigger MOT failures. Check the condition of the tyre treads and the depth of the brake pads to ensure they have not reached their limit since the November 2025 test. Given the lack of historical faults, the primary goal is to verify that the mechanical condition matches the flawless paper trail.
