2017 Ford Fiesta 1.2L Petrol · MT17 AAX

This vehicle presents an exceptionally clean roadworthiness record with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 23 January 2026 at 37,325 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to January 2022, indicating a car that has been kept in a high state of mechanical repair. The mileage is notably low for a nine year old vehicle, averaging roughly 4,147 miles per year. The accumulation has remained steady and low, growing from 28,098 miles in January 2022 to 37,325 miles by January 2026. There are no erratic jumps in mileage or suspicious gaps in the testing history that would suggest undisclosed heavy use or long periods of neglect. Because the MOT history is devoid of advisories, there are no recurring mechanical faults to flag. The absence of mentions regarding suspension bushes, brake disc corrosion, or exhaust emissions suggests a well-preserved example. However, low-mileage vehicles often suffer from perished rubber components or seized brake calipers due to inactivity. A physical inspection should focus on the condition of the tyres and battery to ensure they have not aged out despite low wear. You should also check for signs of surface corrosion on the underbody, as low-mileage cars often spend more time stationary in damp environments. Given the clean record, the primary risk is stagnation rather than mechanical failure.
