2006 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · MT56 MJK

The 2006 Honda Jazz presents as roadworthy following its most recent pass on 26 March 2026 at 124,804 miles, with the maintenance trend appearing stable across the last three annual cycles. The vehicle cleared the March 2026 test with no defects recorded, though it failed earlier the same day at 124,803 miles before an immediate retest pass, indicating an administrative or minor pre-check issue rather than a mechanical fault. No advisories or defects appear across any of the five entries from 2024 to 2026. Annual mileage sits at a typical 6,240 miles given the car's twenty-year life, with the record showing 118,551 miles on 28 March 2024, 121,721 miles on 20 March 2025, and 124,804 miles on 26 March 2026. The accumulation is steady at roughly 3,000 miles per year with no gaps or sudden jumps. The sparse, clean history offers little evidence of neglect, though the twin 2024 and 2026 fail-then-pass pairs on the same dates suggest the keeper addressed paperwork or trivial items promptly rather than leaving the car idle. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of structural corrosion, suspension bushes, and brake discs given the age and 124,804-mile total. The MOT data flags no recurring mechanical faults, but a Jazz of this vintage commonly develops perished rubber components and undertray rust unseen by the annual test. Verify the March 2026 same-day fail cause with the testing station, as DVSA logs show no defect text recorded for either attempt. Given the absence of advisories across four passes, previous ownership appears to have kept basic upkeep current. The clean sheet offers reasonable assurance, yet at twenty years old the car demands scrutiny of consumables such as tyres, wiper blades, and exhaust hangers that a no-defect test does not detail.
