2021 Volkswagen Touareg V6 Black Edition TDI A 3.0L Diesel · ND66 URN

The vehicle presents in excellent roadworthiness condition with a stable maintenance profile. The most recent MOT conducted on 18 March 2026 at 28,889 miles resulted in a clean pass, indicating that the vehicle currently meets all statutory safety standards. The absence of any recorded defects or advisories across the two most recent inspections suggests a high standard of care and a lack of chronic mechanical neglect. Accumulated mileage remains low for a five-year-old vehicle of this class, averaging approximately 5,778 miles per annum. The progression from 20,876 miles in March 2025 to 28,889 miles in March 2026 shows consistent, moderate usage rather than long periods of stagnation. This usage pattern is generally favourable for complex drivetrain components and electrical systems, as it avoids the risks associated with both excessive high-speed wear and the potential for seized components common in vehicles left idle for extended durations. Prospective buyers should focus their physical inspection on the condition of the brake discs and pads, as these consumables often show signs of surface corrosion or uneven wear on low-mileage examples that have seen infrequent use. While the MOT records are currently clear, the air suspension system and electronic parking brake actuators remain the primary areas of interest for a vehicle of this specification. Verify that the vehicle sits level on all four corners and that the suspension height adjustment operates without hesitation or audible compressor strain. A thorough check of the tyre sidewalls for perishing or cracking is also advised, as the age of the rubber may now be a factor even if the tread depth remains within legal limits.
