2020 Volkswagen ID3 Family Electric · OE70 AFK

This vehicle maintains a stable and clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 9 December 2025 resulted in a pass at 30,295 miles with no defects recorded. While the record shows a failure on the same day, the lack of listed defects suggests a clerical error or a minor administrative issue rather than a mechanical failure. The mileage pattern is consistently low for a six-year-old vehicle. The car covered 6,880 miles between December 2023 and December 2024, and a further 6,956 miles by December 2025. This steady, low-intensity usage suggests the vehicle has not been subjected to heavy commercial use or excessive wear on the drivetrain. The MOT history is exceptionally clean, with no advisories regarding suspension bushes, brake discs, or corrosion across all recorded tests. There are no recurring faults to indicate systemic mechanical decline. The absence of any flagged issues with tyres or wiper blades suggests a diligent approach to basic maintenance by the previous owner. A physical inspection should focus on components that degrade regardless of mileage. The buyer should check for tyre perishing or flat spots if the car has spent long periods stationary. Checking the 12V accessory battery health is also advisable, as low-mileage electric vehicles can suffer from battery drain if not cycled regularly.
