2014 Audi A3 2.0L Diesel · OP61 ANP

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status, evidenced by a clean pass in the most recent test in February 2026 at 190,235 miles. This follows a three-year period of successful inspections without any recorded defects, suggesting that the mechanical and structural components have maintained a consistent passing standard. The failure recorded in February 2023 followed by an immediate rectification and re-pass on the same day indicates the specific issue was addressed promptly and has not recurred in subsequent annual tests. The mileage profile is significantly high for a twelve-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 15,853 miles per year. Between March 2024 and February 2026, the car covered 31,147 miles, representing a heavy usage pattern of over 15,000 miles annually. This consistent high-mileage demand places accelerated stress on the drivetrain, suspension bushings, and braking system. The lack of long-term gaps in the mileage data suggests the vehicle has been used for regular motorway commuting rather than sitting for extended periods of inactivity. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the components most susceptible to high-mileage wear. Given the 190,235-mile reading, the condition of the suspension control arms, shock absorbers, and bushings is critical as these often reach the end of their service life interval. Inspect the brake discs for thinning and calipers for binding, as high mileage accelerates material degradation. While the MOT history is currently clean, the sheer mileage necessitates a thorough check of the chassis for structural corrosion and engine oil leaks that may not yet trigger a standard MOT failure.
