2013 Audi A4 3.0L Diesel · OY13 NVW

The 2013 Audi A4 maintains a consistent record of passing its annual MOT inspections, with the most recent test conducted on 17 March 2026 at 96,912 miles. The vehicle has transitioned from a period of defect-free passes in 2022, 2023, and 2025 to the current status, which includes advisories for thin front brake pads and light oil misting on the offside rear shock absorber. While the vehicle has successfully cleared every inspection, the emergence of these mechanical advisories indicates a shift toward the expected wear associated with a vehicle of this age and mileage. The recorded mileage of 96,912 over thirteen years averages approximately 7,455 miles annually, which aligns with standard usage patterns for this class of vehicle. The progression of mileage is linear across the provided history, showing no evidence of prolonged periods of inactivity or erratic usage spikes. The absence of test failures suggests that the vehicle has remained compliant with roadworthiness standards throughout its recent history, though the MOT record does not provide insight into the quality of non-safety-related servicing or component replacement. Prospective buyers should prioritise a physical inspection of the front braking system, as the pads are currently identified as wearing thin and will likely require replacement in the near future. The offside rear shock absorber requires monitoring for signs of worsening oil leakage, which can lead to reduced damping efficiency and uneven tyre wear. Additionally, the suspension history from February 2024, which noted a worn nearside front lower suspension arm bush, warrants a thorough check for any play or knocking noises during a test drive to ensure the component has not deteriorated further. Buying score: 70. Risk level: Low.
