2008 Mercedes-Benz B-Class 2.0L Diesel · PB58 JVB

The vehicle currently holds a roadworthy status with a remarkably stable maintenance trend. The most recent inspection on 09 December 2025 at 133,113 miles resulted in a pass with no defects, following a failure five days prior at 133,043 miles. This specific sequence suggests a minor issue was identified and immediately rectified before the re-test, as the vehicle has consistently passed its annual examinations thereafter without any further recorded advisories. The mileage pattern remains consistent with typical usage for an eighteen-year-old vehicle. With 133,113 miles recorded, the car has averaged approximately 7,400 miles per year, which indicates moderate use rather than heavy strain or prolonged neglect. The data shows steady progression, with roughly 4,700 miles driven between December 2023 and December 2024, and another 6,692 miles between December 2024 and December 2025. This regularity suggests the vehicle is driven regularly, which helps prevent the degradation of seals and components associated with long stationary periods. While the lack of recorded advisories suggests a clean history, a buyer must still perform a physical inspection of age-related components common to this model. Given the age of the vehicle, pay close attention to structural corrosion on the rear sills and wheel arches where Mercedes B-Class rust often develops before it becomes a MOT failure. Inspect the suspension bushes for signs of tearing and check the brake discs for uneven wear, as these items do not always trigger an MOT failure until they reach a critical point of inefficiency.
