2022 DAF Trucks CF.450 0.0L Diesel · PN22 GTY

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, as evidenced by the most recent MOT test on 10 February 2026 at 599,235 miles. This test passed with no defects recorded, mirroring the clean result from the previous inspection in February 2025. The maintenance trend suggests a consistent level of upkeep that meets safety and operational standards despite the heavy operational demand. The mileage accumulation is exceptionally high, with the vehicle covering approximately 150,000 miles annually over its four-year lifespan. Between the February 2025 and 2026 tests, the truck logged 99,328 miles in a single year. This rapid rate of use indicates intensive long-distance haulage work, which typically places significant stress on the drivetrain, suspension geometry, and chassis components. The lack of recorded advisories despite these figures suggests that the operators have maintained a proactive service schedule to prevent mechanical failures. Given the extreme mileage, a physical inspection must focus on components prone to high-frequency cycle fatigue. A buyer should scrutinise the suspension bushes, coil springs, and ball joints for signs of premature wear or shearing. The braking system should be checked for uneven wear on the discs or binding calipers, as the high thermal loads associated with such mileage can accelerate degradation. Furthermore, the structural integrity of the chassis should be examined for stress fractures or excessive corrosion to ensure the high-usage has not compromised the frame.
