2023 Nissan Qashqai N-Connecta DIG-T Mhev 1.3L Hybrid electric (clean) · PN23 WRV

This Nissan Qashqai has passed its most recent MOT test on 2026-02-20 with no defects recorded, confirming it remains roadworthy under current UK standards. The absence of advisories or failures in that test suggests the vehicle has not experienced any critical mechanical or structural issues requiring immediate attention. However, the sparse MOT history—limited to a single pass in the past six months—means there is insufficient data to establish a long-term maintenance trend. Buyers should treat this as a baseline rather than an indicator of consistent upkeep, particularly given the vehicle’s age and mileage. The recorded mileage of 18,286 miles at three years old aligns with typical usage patterns for this model, averaging around 6,095 miles annually. Without prior MOT records for comparison, it is impossible to determine whether the vehicle has been stored for extended periods or driven consistently. The lack of intermediate MOT tests also means there is no evidence of recurring faults or progressive wear that might have been addressed—or ignored—between tests. For context, a vehicle of this age should have undergone at least two MOTs in the past three years, so this gap warrants scrutiny. Given the limited MOT history, an in-person inspection should prioritise high-wear components that are not always captured in a standard MOT. Focus on the suspension system, particularly the condition of coil springs, bushes, and stabiliser links, as these are prone to fatigue and wear over time. The brakes should be checked for uneven pad thickness, binding calipers, or excessive corrosion on the discs, especially if the vehicle has been stored. Exhaust emissions and catalytic converter efficiency, while not tested in this MOT, may degrade if the car has been driven sporadically. Structural integrity—particularly around wheel arches, sills, and the subframe—should also be inspected for signs of corrosion, as this is a common issue in UK vehicles of this age. The absence of MOT advisories does not guarantee these areas are free from hidden problems.
