2014 Audi A8 4.0L Petrol · PO64 RFN

The vehicle presents a technically clean roadworthiness profile following its most recent MOT test on 14 May 2026. At 52,810 miles, the tester recorded zero recorded defects, indicating that the car currently meets statutory safety and emissions standards. The lack of advisories in the latest entry suggests a stable maintenance state where no immediate mechanical or structural failures are flagged. The recorded mileage is notably low for a twelve-year-old luxury saloon, averaging approximately 4,400 miles per year. This usage pattern suggests the vehicle was likely used for short trips or remained stationary for extended periods. While low annual mileage typically reduces wear on drivetrain components and brake hardware, long periods of inactivity can sometimes lead to the degradation of rubber-based components and fluid oxidation, which the MOT test does not always fully capture. Given that the history is sparse but currently clear, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on components susceptible to low-mileage neglect. Inspect the suspension bushes, control arm bushings, and coil springs for cracking or perished rot, which occurs over time regardless of distance driven. You should also check the brake discs for surface corrosion and calipers for binding, as vehicles that sit infrequently often suffer from seizing. A thorough check of the chassis for structural corrosion is also necessary to ensure the low mileage has not masked underlying environmental damage.
