2024 Tesla Model Y RWD Electric · R6 NAU

This Tesla Model Y RWD lacks any MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without test dates, advisories, or pass/fail outcomes, there is no evidence to evaluate whether the vehicle’s condition is stable, deteriorating, or improving. The absence of records also precludes any analysis of recurring faults or maintenance trends. As a result, the vehicle’s current state—including critical systems like battery health, suspension integrity, or brake performance—cannot be verified against regulatory standards. Mileage data is entirely absent, which complicates any assessment of usage patterns. A 2024 model with no MOT history suggests either extreme neglect or that the vehicle has yet to reach the mandatory first test at three years or 60,000 miles. If the car has been driven at all, the lack of records implies either a first-time buyer unaware of MOT requirements or a seller deliberately omitting documentation. Without confirmation of mileage, it’s impossible to determine whether wear aligns with typical usage or if the vehicle has been stored improperly. Given the complete absence of MOT data, a buyer must prioritise an independent inspection of high-risk areas. Focus on the battery’s thermal management system, as Tesla vehicles are prone to thermal degradation over time. Check for uneven tyre wear or binding brakes, which could indicate suspension or alignment issues. Inspect the underbody for corrosion, particularly around the wheel arches and subframe, as electric vehicles often suffer from hidden rust due to lack of exhaust heat. Verify that all software updates are current, as Tesla relies heavily on over-the-air fixes for safety and efficiency. Without prior test evidence, no component can be assumed reliable.
