1965 Velooctte Venom 0.5L Petrol · RA 1381

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness status based on the most recent inspection. In the 15 February 2022 test at 4,880 miles, the car passed with no recorded defects or advisories. Because there are no subsequent MOT entries following this date, the maintenance trend appears stable, though the lack of recent data over the last four years leaves the current mechanical state unverified. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 61-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 80 miles per year. This low usage suggests the car has been kept in storage or used only for leisure rather than as a daily driver. The gap between the February 2022 test and the current date of June 2026 means the vehicle has not undergone a formal safety check in four years. Such long intervals often lead to the degradation of rubber components and fluid integrity rather than mechanical wear and tear from mileage. A buyer must conduct a physical inspection focusing on components affected by long periods of standing. The low mileage does not exempt the vehicle from potential cracking in brake lines, perished rubber bushings in the suspension, or dry rot on the tyres. The braking system specifically should be checked for seized calipers or rusted discs, which frequently occur when vehicles remain stationary for extended periods. Structural integrity remains a priority for a vehicle of this age to ensure corrosion has not compromised the chassis since the last recorded test.
