2016 Ford Fiesta 1.0L Petrol · RV66 TXT

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a clear trend toward improving maintenance standards. The most recent MOT test conducted on 21 August 2025 at 57,500 miles resulted in a clean pass, indicating that all previous issues identified by the tester have been rectified. This suggests the car is currently in a roadworthy condition without any immediate mechanical or structural failures. At approximately 57,500 miles, this decade-old Fiesta has covered significantly less distance than average, averaging roughly 5,750 miles per year. The data shows a consistent usage pattern with intervals of roughly 3,000 to 4,000 miles between annual tests from 2022 through 2025. This low annual mileage typically implies less wear on the drivetrain and suspension components, though it also increases the risk of rubber-based parts perishing over time if the vehicle has sat stationary for extended periods. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the condition of the tyres, as the September 2023 test at 51,558 miles flagged both the nearside and offside front tyres for perishing and edge-related wear. While these were replaced or addressed by the subsequent passes, the low mileage and age of the vehicle can lead to dry rot in sidewalls despite tread depth. The failure in 2022 regarding headlamp aim was a minor adjustment issue and does not indicate deeper mechanical neglect. Given the lack of recorded advisories for corrosion or brake components in recent years, a standard check of the chassis and brake discs remains necessary to ensure the low usage hasn't allowed hidden surface rust.
