2020 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · RV70 YOW

The vehicle maintains a roadworthy status, though the maintenance trend shows a slight decline into minor reactive repairs. The most recent test on October 13, 2025, at 54,738 miles passed despite an inoperative registration plate lamp and a damaged nearside rear tyre. While these are minor consumable and electrical faults, their appearance after a previously clean record suggests a lack of thorough pre-test inspections-checks by the previous owner. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a six-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 9,100 miles per annum. Between October 2023 and October 2024, the car covered 9,492 miles, followed by another 8,144 miles in the subsequent year leading up to the latest test. This steady usage profile indicates typical road driving rather than long periods of standing, which is generally beneficial for maintaining rubber components and seals within the drivetrain. A buyer should focus physical inspection on the front suspension, as the nearside front shock absorber was flagged for light misting of oil in October 2023 at 37,102 miles. While misting is not an immediate failure, it indicates the beginning of a seal leak that requires monitoring to ensure it does not progress to a full failure. The cracking noted on the nearside rear tyre in late 2025 also suggests the tyres may be reaching the end of their life regardless of tread depth, necessitating a check of the remaining set for similar perishing.
