The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a consistently clean MOT record across the last five years. The most recent inspection on 14 May 2025 at 34,117 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, maintaining a stable trend of passes. This suggests the vehicle is maintained to a standard that meets all regulatory requirements for safety without recurring mechanical failures or structural degradation. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 13-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,600 miles per year. Between the 2021 test at 18,556 miles and the 2025 test at 34,117 miles, the car covered 15,561 miles. While this low usage implies minimal wear on the drivetrain and engine components, the long intervals between tests can sometimes mask the degradation of rubber-based parts. The data indicates the car has likely been stored or used sporadically rather than subjected to heavy daily commuting. Given the lack of recorded faults, a physical inspection should focus on components most affected by low-mileage storage. Examine the suspension system for cracks in rubber bushes, split boots, or perished perished, which often occur regardless of mileage. Check the brake discs for surface pitting or seized calipers, as vehicles that sit for long periods can suffer from corrosion. Additionally, verify the structural integrity of the chassis for any signs of rust, ensuring that low mileage has not prevented the detection of environmental damage.
