2007 Honda S2000 GT 2.0L Petrol · S200 OLY

The vehicle presents an exemplary roadworthiness status, evidenced by a clean record of passes over the last five years. The most recent test conducted on 14 June 2026 at 28,949 miles showed no defects, maintaining a perfectly stable trend dating back to 2022. This consistency suggests the car has been maintained to a high standard and has not suffered from recurring mechanical failures or structural neglect. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a nineteen-year-old vehicle, averaging only approximately 1,500 miles per year. Between June 2022 and June 2023, the car covered just 106 miles, with an even smaller interval of 206 miles recorded between the two most recent annual tests. Such low usage indicates the vehicle has likely been stored indoors and used sparingly for short trips. While this reduces mechanical wear on the engine and drivetrain, it introduces specific risks related to the degradation of rubber-based components and fluid-related issues. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must inspect the vehicle for issues caused by long periods of standing rather than mileage. Focus on checking for cracked sidewalls, perished suspension bushes, and leaking brake seals which can occur when a car is not driven regularly. The structural integrity of the chassis should be verified for hidden corrosion, which is a critical point for the S2000, as the MOT test only identifies surface-level structural decay. Ensure the brake discs are free of heavy pitting or surface rust that often develops when vehicles sit stationary for months at a time.
