2017 Renault Koleos 1.6L Diesel · SB67 EHJ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent clean pass record over the last four years. Although it recorded a failure on 9 October 2025 at 82,790 miles, it passed the retest the following day with no recorded defects. This suggests the initial failure was likely an administrative error or a minor component issue that was rectified immediately, as no recurring mechanical or structural faults have appeared in the history across the previous annual tests. The mileage accumulation is consistent with typical annual usage for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 9,200 miles per. Between October 2022 at 58,454 miles and October 2025 at 82,790 miles, the car covered 24,336 miles, maintaining a steady usage pattern. The recent interval of 8,035 miles between the 2024 and 2025 tests indicates regular driving cycles which helps prevent the seal degradation often associated with long periods of inactivity. Since the MOT history shows no recurring advisories for structural rust or mechanical wear, a physical inspection should focus on standard consumable items for a Koleos of this age. A buyer should verify the condition of the suspension bushes and coil springs, as these often begin to show fatigue around the 80,000-mile mark. Checking the brake discs for uneven wear and inspecting the thickness of the pads will also ensure the clean MOT record reflects the actual current state of the braking system.
