2013 Honda CR-V 2.2L Diesel · SD13 CNO

The vehicle currently holds a roadworthy status following a clean MOT pass on 29 January 2026 at 136,813 miles. The maintenance trend appears stable, as the vehicle has consistently passed its inspections over the last three years. While the record shows failures in both 2025 and 2026, the lack of recorded defects on the subsequent pass sheets indicates that any identified issues were rectified immediately prior to the re-test. The mileage progression is consistent with typical annual usage for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 10,500 miles per year. Between the January 2024 test at 114,577 miles and the January 2025 test at 125,565 miles, the car covered 10,988 miles. The subsequent interval leading to the January 2026 test saw another 11,248 miles. This steady accumulation suggests regular road use which is generally beneficial for maintaining seals and preventing the degradation associated with long periods of standing. Because the MOT history does not list specific defect codes for the failures in 2025 and 2026, a physical inspection is required to identify common CR-V wear points for this generation. A buyer should specifically examine the rear suspension bushes and the front coil springs for fractures, which are frequent points of failure on this model. Given the mileage, checking the condition of the brake discs and the integrity of the exhaust system is essential to ensure no significant corrosion is present that could have triggered the recent test failures.
