2007 Land Rover Range Rover Vogue TDV8 A 3.6L Heavy oil · SE07 KVP

The vehicle presents a stable and reassuring roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT, conducted on 9 November 2022 at 160,698 miles, passed with zero defects recorded. This clean bill of health, combined with a preceding pass in July 2021, indicates a consistent pattern of maintenance rather than a sudden, recent turnaround. The maintenance trend is stable, with no recurring mechanical or structural failures documented in the available history. The mileage accumulation tells a clear story of regular, steady use. Between the July 2021 test at 152,530 miles and the November 2022 test at 160,698 miles, the vehicle covered 8,168 miles in approximately 16 months. This aligns with the vehicle's lifetime average of roughly 8,458 miles per year, confirming consistent road use rather than prolonged standing or sudden high-mileage runs. A notable gap exists between the 2022 test and today, 18 June 2026, meaning the vehicle has sat without a fresh MOT for over three and a half years. During this period, the recorded mileage has not moved from 160,698, confirming the vehicle has been stationary. Long-term standing on a 2007 air suspension vehicle raises specific concerns that a static mileage figure alone cannot reveal. A buyer must treat the three-year MOT gap as the primary risk. A comprehensive inspection of the air suspension system is critical. The compressor, air springs, and valve blocks are prone to failure after long periods of inactivity, and a sunken or uneven stance on arrival would confirm a costly fault. The tyres, while potentially showing sufficient tread, will almost certainly suffer from flat-spotting and perished sidewalls due to age and static load, requiring immediate replacement regardless of their visual condition. Brake condition demands a thorough check; discs and pads can corrode and bind when a vehicle sits, and the handbrake mechanism on the transmission is a known weak point on this model. Beyond the gap, the history is clean, but the age and design of the TDV8 mean a close visual inspection of the chassis, inner wing arches, and suspension bushes for corrosion and perishing is essential. The absence of past advisories is positive, but it does not guarantee the current condition of a vehicle that has been dormant for an extended period.
