2010 Honda VFR 1200 F-A 1.2L Petrol · SG10 BCZ

This vehicle presents an exceptionally stable roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 28 July 2025 at 19,790 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent three-year trend of flawless test results, indicating a vehicle that has been maintained to a high standard and remains in a state of mechanical readiness. The mileage is remarkably low for a 2010 model, averaging roughly 1,237 miles per year. The distance covered between tests has remained steady and modest, increasing by 756 miles between August 2022 and July 2023, and 675 miles between July 2023 and July 2024. Such low usage suggests the bike has not been subjected to heavy wear, though it may have spent significant periods in storage. Despite the clean MOT record, the low mileage and age necessitate a specific physical inspection. Long periods of inactivity can lead to perished rubber components, such as cracked tyre sidewalls or degraded brake hoses. A buyer should check for brake caliper seizure or binding, as well as the condition of the fork seals, which can leak when a bike sits stationary for too long. The absence of any flagged corrosion or structural issues across four years of testing is positive. However, given the age of the machine, verifying the battery health and checking for fuel system deposits from infrequent use is advisable. The lack of recurring faults suggests a conscientious previous owner, but the physical state of consumables should be verified against the low-mileage data.
