2010 Lexus RX450H 3.5L Other · SH10 DDZ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, evidenced by its most recent clean MOT result. The test conducted on 25 July 2025 at 133,252 miles returned no defects, indicating that the car currently meets all minimum safety standards. Despite a technical failure in March 2025 at 129,840 miles, the subsequent pass without recorded advisories suggests that any identified issues were rectified immediately, and the vehicle remains in a sound mechanical state. The mileage accumulation is consistent with a 16-year-old luxury hybrid, averaging approximately 8,300 miles per annum. Between November 2021 (97,635 miles) and July 2025 (133,252 miles), the vehicle covered over 35,000 miles, representing a steady usage pattern. The intervals between annual tests are regular, suggesting the car has not been subject to long periods of stationary neglect which often leads to degradation of rubber components or the corrosion of brake calipers in hybrid systems of this age. While the digital record is clean of recurring faults, a buyer must focus on high-wear components typical of the Lexus RX platform at this mileage. A physical inspection should prioritize the suspension bushes and coil springs, as the heavy weight of the drivetrain often stresses these parts before they manifest as MOT failures. Given the hybrid nature, checking the condition of the cooling system for the battery and inspecting the structural integrity of the subframe for corrosion is essential to ensure the long-term stability seen in the MOT history continues.
