2007 Porsche 911 3.6L Petrol · SJ07 AEE

The vehicle presents a clean and stable maintenance profile with no recorded defects or advisories across the documented history. The most recent test on 4 March 2026 at 85,996 miles returned a pass with no issues noted. This consistency suggests a high standard of upkeep and indicates that the vehicle has avoided the common pitfalls of structural corrosion or suspension wear that often plague older performance vehicles. The mileage accumulation is notably low for a 19-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,526 miles per year. The record shows a significant period of minimal usage between 2017 and 2021, where the mileage only increased by 1,174 miles over four years. Recent usage has increased slightly, with the car covering 1,647 miles between the 2022 and 2024 tests. This pattern suggests the car has spent considerable time in storage, which can sometimes lead to perished rubber components or seized calipers despite a clean MOT history. While the MOT record is impeccable, a physical inspection should focus on age-related degradation that a standard roadworthiness test might miss. Given the low annual mileage and periods of inactivity, I recommend checking all rubber bushings, drive belts, and coolant hoses for signs of cracking or perishing. The brake system should be scrutinized for any signs of surface corrosion on the discs or sticking calipers resulting from infrequent use. The suspension components and dampers should also be examined for leaks or perished boots. Because the vehicle has not undergone frequent high-mileage usage, the mechanical components may have more remaining life than a higher-mileage equivalent, but the lack of recent testing history for the earlier years means a thorough check of the chassis for any signs of surface rust or structural integrity issues remains a necessary precaution.
