2015 Mercedes-Benz C 2.1L Diesel · SJ09 AMG

The Mercedes-Benz C currently holds a roadworthy status. The most recent DVSA test on 24 March 2026 at 93,011 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded. Maintenance trend across the supplied entries stays stable. On 25 March 2025 at 82,726 miles the tester issued a failure yet logged no defects, then granted a pass on the same day. That anomaly suggests a procedural rejection rather than unresolved suspension, brake, or emissions faults. Mileage tracks typical for an eleven-year-old car. The record opens at 58,541 miles on 17 May 2023. By 18 March 2024 the odometer read 71,219, rising to 82,726 on 25 March 2025 and 93,011 on 24 March 2026. Annual gains sit between 10,285 and 12,678 miles, indicating steady use rather than harsh fleet cycles. Early-life tests before 2023 are missing, so initial upkeep remains unseen, but the recent annual cadence with clean sheets implies the previous keeper met statutory checks on time. No advisories flag suspension bushes, coil springs, binding calipers, brake discs, structural corrosion, or exhaust emissions across any test. A buyer should still inspect those items physically, because an MOT pass with zero advisories omits measurement of remaining tyre tread, wiper blades, and hidden subframe rust. The same-day fail/pass in March 2025 merits a DVSA record check to confirm no suppressed fault. Previous owners appear to have maintained basic compliance; prospective purchase looks mechanically sound pending independent appraisal.
