2016 Ford Fiesta 1.0L Petrol · SJ66 AEY

This Ford Fiesta demonstrates a stable and exceptionally clean roadworthiness trend. The most recent test on 26 August 2025 at 50,991 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to 2022, suggesting the vehicle has been maintained to a high standard. The mileage is notably low for a ten year old vehicle, averaging roughly 5,099 miles per year. The distance covered between tests has remained steady, with a 6,383 mile increase between August 2022 and August 2023, and a smaller 2,900 mile increase between August 2024 and August 2025. This low usage suggests light duty, though the brief failure on 17 August 2023 was resolved within four days, indicating a prompt response to any identified faults. The absence of advisories across multiple years is rare and suggests a proactive approach to maintenance. Because the MOT record is devoid of mentions regarding brake disc corrosion, suspension bush wear, or exhaust leaks, there are no specific recurring mechanical failures to flag. The record shows no evidence of structural integrity issues or significant corrosion. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components that degrade regardless of mileage. Low-use vehicles often suffer from perished tyre rubber or seized brake calipers due to long periods of standing. Check the date codes on the tyres and ensure the brake pedal feel is firm and consistent to confirm the vehicle has not spent excessive time stationary.
