2021 Volkswagen California Beach Camper TDI SA 2.0L Diesel · SK61 CAL

The vehicle maintains a high standard of roadworthiness with a perfectly stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 1 August 2025 at 20,300 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This mirrors the clean result from the previous test in August 2024 at 13,550 miles, indicating that the vehicle has operated without any significant mechanical failures or structural concerns. The mileage pattern is notably low for a five-year-old camper, averaging approximately 4,060 miles per annum. Between the August 2024 and 2025 tests, the vehicle covered 6,750 miles, which suggests consistent but light-duty use. While low mileage typically translates to less wear on the drivetrain and suspension components, it can sometimes lead to the age-related degradation of rubber parts if the vehicle sits stationary for extended periods between journeys. Since the MOT history shows no recurring faults, a physical inspection should focus on components affected by low-mileage storage. A buyer should check for sidewalling cracking on tyres and perished wiper blades, as these often age before the tread depth is exhausted. Inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion or seized calipers, which frequently occur on vehicles that are not driven regularly. Additionally, verify the underbody for any signs of early structural rust to ensure the low mileage has not masked environmental damage.
