2012 Toyota Yaris Edition VVT-I 1.0L Petrol · SV62 XSN

The vehicle maintains a high standard of roadworthiness based on a consistently clean MOT history. The most recent test conducted in January 2026 at 123,314 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, continuing a perfect record across the last five tests. This suggests that the previous owners have been proactive with preventative maintenance and that the mechanical components are currently operating within acceptable parameters without immediate safety risks. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical usage for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 8,800 miles per annum. There is a three-year gap between September 2019 and May 2022 during which the car covered roughly 18,000 miles. Since 2022, the usage rate has increased slightly, covering over 31,000 miles in the last four years. This steady accumulation indicates the car has been used regularly rather than left stationary for long periods, which is generally beneficial for engine seals and braking components to prevent corrosion or seizing associated with standing vehicles. While the digital record shows no recurring faults, a buyer should still perform a physical inspection of high-wear areas that are not always flagged during a MOT test. At 123,314 miles, the suspension bushes and coil springs should be checked for signs of perished rubber or excessive play. Given the age of the vehicle, inspecting the chassis for structural corrosion on the sills and wheel arches is essential, as MOT tests only flag significant structural rust. The lack of historical advisories for brake thinning or tyre wear suggests the vehicle has likely been a well-maintained example of its model.
