2011 Renault Scenic 1.5L Diesel · SY11 WXL

The Renault Scenic presents as roadworthy following its most recent MOT pass on 3 December 2025 at 62,080 miles with no defects recorded. The maintenance trend is stable across the available history, with every pass showing a clean sheet and no advisories logged at any stage. The vehicle cleared its test one day after a failure on 2 December 2025 at 62,079 miles, though the failure listed no defects, indicating an administrative or presentation issue rather than a mechanical fault. Mileage stands at 62,080 against a December 2011 build, averaging roughly 4,139 miles per year. The record shows light annual use: 49,044 miles in December 2023, 55,711 at the December 2024 pass, and 62,080 by December 2025. That is about 6,700 miles added in the last twelve months. Sparse test data and zero advisories mean we cannot chart wear on consumables or suspension, but the low totals suggest prolonged standing periods are plausible for a car of this age. The December 2024 failure at 55,708 miles, like the 2025 failure, carried no recorded defects, so no recurring mechanical fault or structural concern is evidenced in the DVSA entries. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs and subframe corrosion, as the MOT record offers no visibility of these items between tests. Given the clean history and minimal mileage, previous ownership appears to have kept basic statutory testing in order. The twin no-defect failures warrant a check of the test centre paperwork to confirm no omitted faults. Absent any advisories, the Scenic reads as a low-use example needing only standard pre-purchase scrutiny.
