2012 Mercedes-Benz C 1.6L Petrol · T60 CLG

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent pass record over the last three years. The most recent inspection in August 2025 at 52,775 miles resulted in no recorded defects, indicating the car is currently in a compliant mechanical state. While a single failure occurred in August 2024, the immediate rectification and subsequent clean pass suggest the current owner is proactive in addressing necessary repairs to maintain the vehicle's roadworthy status. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a fourteen-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 3,770 miles per year. Between August 2022 and August 2025, the car covered only 7,698 miles, showing a very slow rate of accumulation compared to the national average for a Mercedes C-Class.. This low usage typically implies minimal wear on the drivetrain, engine, and braking components. However, long periods of standing can lead to the degradation of rubber-based components and the settling of fluid systems, which are not always reflected in mileage figures alone. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components prone to age-related decay rather than mileage-related wear. Given the low mileage, check for perished suspension bushes, cracked tyre sidewalls, and leaking hoses that may have become brittle over time. Examine the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting, as infrequently-used vehicles often suffer from seized calipers. Additionally, inspect the structural integrity of the underbody and wheel arches for corrosion, as the age of the vehicle necessitates that rust has not compromised the chassis despite the low odometer reading.
