2014 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Diesel · TH07 VAL

This vehicle maintains a consistent record of roadworthiness with no recorded defects or advisories, culminating in a clean pass on 13 December 2025. While the history shows a pattern of same-day failures and passes throughout 2024 and 2025, the absence of listed defects in the record suggests that any issues encountered were minor and rectified immediately. The overall trend indicates a stable mechanical state with no evidence of chronic failures or recurring structural concerns. With 98,705 miles accumulated over approximately twelve years, the vehicle has averaged roughly 8,225 miles per year. This represents a typical usage profile for a small hatchback of this vintage, suggesting a balanced duty cycle that avoids the accelerated wear associated with high-mileage fleet use as well as the degradation caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. Mechanically, this usage pattern suggests that the drivetrain and suspension components have experienced standard wear and tear consistent with its age. Given the lack of specific advisories in the official record, the physical inspection should focus on common wear points for this model that may not have reached the threshold of an MOT failure. During a test drive, pay close attention to the steering rack and front suspension linkages for any knocks or clunks when traversing uneven surfaces. Check for any steering pull or vibration at higher speeds, which could indicate wheel misalignment or uneven tyre wear. Assess the brake pedal feel for any sponginess or judder during deceleration, and ensure the handbrake holds firmly on an incline to rule out binding calipers or stretched cables. A visual inspection of the underbody is recommended to check for surface corrosion on the subframe and exhaust system, as these are typical areas for oxidation in vehicles of this age regardless of a clean testing history.
