2014 Aston Martin Vantage 5.9L Petrol · V12 VWH

The most recent MOT test was completed on May 1, 2026, resulting in a pass with 18,224 miles recorded and no defects listed. The history over the last three years is exceptionally clean, showing a consistent pattern of passes with zero advisories or failed tests. This indicates a stable condition trend with no escalating mechanical issues or recurring safety defects appearing in the official records. However, the mileage context is a critical factor for this vehicle. At roughly 1,500 miles per year, this car has seen very little use. While this suggests minimal wear and tear on consumables like suspension bushes and drivetrain components, such low usage can be detrimental in other ways. Components often degrade from age or lack of exercise rather than mileage, meaning rubber seals, hoses, and fluids may have deteriorated despite the car sitting mostly idle. Because the MOT history provides no evidence of specific mechanical faults, your inspection should focus on the risks associated with long periods of standing. You should check the tyres closely for age-related cracking, flat spots, or perishing, as they may be old despite having tread. Ensure the brakes are not seized or corroded and that the callipers move freely.
