2022 Audi S5 Black ED TDI Mhev Quattro A 3.0L Diesel · V6 TAF

The vehicle presents a stable and consistently clean maintenance trend. The most recent MOT, conducted on 5 March 2026 at 25,516 miles, passed with zero defects recorded. This follows a similarly clean pass on 17 February 2025 at 20,030 miles. With no advisories or failures across both recorded tests, the mechanical condition appears well-maintained and stable, showing no signs of emerging faults or neglect. The mileage accumulation is measured and typical for a four-year-old vehicle. Between the February 2025 test and the March 2026 test, the car covered 5,486 miles over approximately thirteen months, averaging roughly 422 miles per month. This aligns closely with the overall lifetime average of approximately 6,379 miles per year. There are no suspicious gaps or sudden spikes in the recorded odometer readings, suggesting regular and consistent use rather than prolonged standing or aggressive high-mileage driving. A clean MOT record is encouraging, but a physical inspection remains essential. The Audi S5 Black Edition TDI MHEV Quattro is a performance-oriented diesel with a mild-hybrid system and all-wheel drive, meaning drivetrain and transmission components deserve close scrutiny. A prospective buyer should inspect the underside for any signs of corrosion, particularly around suspension mounting points, subframes, and brake lines. The Quattro system's rear differential and driveshaft should be checked for leaks or excessive play, and the condition of the brake discs and pads should be verified despite the clean emissions and braking test results. Given the low recorded mileage, consumable wear items such as tyres and wiper blades may still be original or near-original, so tread depth and rubber condition should be assessed. The mild-hybrid system's battery health and regenerative braking function are worth evaluating during a test drive. Overall, the MOT data paints a picture of a carefully maintained vehicle, but hands-on verification of structural integrity and mechanical systems is the only way to confirm that condition matches the paperwork.
