2012 Nissan Micra 1.2L Petrol · VA12 HBX

The vehicle is currently roadworthy, having passed its most recent MOT on August 14, 2025, at 65,645 miles. However, there is a consistent issue with worn suspension bushes, specifically the offside front anti-roll bar linkage pin or bush and the nearside front lower suspension arm pin or bush, which have been flagged in each of the last two tests. This indicates a stable but concerning trend that may require attention in the future. The mileage pattern reflects low usage, with approximately 4,689 miles driven annually over the past 14 years. Notably, the vehicle had no recorded defects in three consecutive MOTs between January 2021 and January 2022, suggesting diligent maintenance during that period. However, the most recent tests show signs of wear in the suspension, which could be due to either neglect or the natural progression of wear over time. A buyer should inspect the suspension system closely, paying particular attention to the anti-roll bar linkage pins and lower suspension arm bushes. These components are critical for handling and stability. Additionally, checking for any signs of corrosion or unusual noises in the suspension would be prudent. While the brakes and other major systems have not shown issues in the MOT history, a thorough visual inspection of these components is also recommended.
