2017 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0L Diesel · VA17 XPC

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistently clean maintenance history. The most recent inspection conducted on 30 July 2025 at 62,639 miles passed with no defects recorded. This completes a five-yearbmod of perfect MOT results, indicating that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that avoids major mechanical or safety-related failures. The mileage pattern is consistent with the vehicle's age, averaging approximately 7,000 miles per year. Between August 2021 at 25,902 miles and July 2025 at 62,639 miles, the car covered roughly 37,000 miles, representing a steady and predictable usage. There are no significant gaps in testing intervals or sudden spikes in mileage that suggest the vehicle was left neglected, which typically correlates with reduced wear on the drivetrain and suspension components compared to higher-mileage examples. As the MOT history shows no recurring faults or adviseories, an in-person inspection should focus on standard wear items that fall outside the testing criteria. A buyer should verify the condition of the suspension bushes and shocks for signs of perished rubber, as these are common points of wear on Tiguan models of this era. Additionally, checking the brake discs and pads for uneven wear and ensuring all fluid levels are maintained is appropriate, despite the clean electronic record. Given the lack of reported structural rust or mechanical failures in the history, the vehicle represents a solid foundation for a used purchase.
